1

1. Go around the table, taking turns reading these cards aloud.
2

2. Somewhere far from here, there is a Treasure. There are other treasures, but this one is uniquely precious.
3

3. The journey to recover the Treasure is long and perilous. Many have tried and failed.
4

4. You, and only you, have decided to venture forth together to recover the Treasure.
5

5. Each of you has your own reason for seeking the Treasure, but all of you would rather die than return empty-handed.
6

6. You are welcome to look through the Treasure cards for inspiration. If there is one that seems right for the group, place it on the table to inspire your story.
7

7. Set the card that reads "The Treasure sits before you, free for the taking. Do you take it?" aside.
8

8. Shuffle the prompt cards, and place them facedown in the center of the table.
9

9. Put the "The Treasure sits before you" card in the middle of the deck for a game that takes approximately 30 minutes, or shuffle it into the bottom third of the deck to play for an hour or more.
10

10. When you have read the instruction cards, continue clockwise with the prompt cards. Take turns reading the questions out loud. Interpret these questions, and answer them, however you wish.
11

11. Other players may ask you questions or make suggestions on your turn, but whether you answer those questions or include those suggestions is entirely up to you.
12

12. Place the X-card somewhere everyone can easily reach it.
13

13. If you encounter a card, or an answer, that you don't want to be included in the game, tap the X-Card. That content is removed from the game.
14

14. If you draw a card that is removed this way, simply draw another card. You can "X" a card that you drew yourself.
15

15.You can also pass on your turn. To do so, give the prompt cardd you drew to the next player, and say: "I'd like to hear your answer to this question."
16

16. A prompt card can be passed around the table until some applies the X-Card to it.
17

17. Continue answering, passing, and X-ing questions until the "The Treasure sits before you" card is drawn.
18

18. Each player should answer that question in turn. Then, the game is over.
19

19. Whoever wants to can draw the first prompt card.
